Hello, Boy.

Loving that grass, aren’t you? The November weather was good for horseys this year.

You better toe the line, Boy. You so much as think about running off, or wandering away from the general vicinity of the barn, and Sheepdog-wannabe will give you what for.

Because Sheepdog-wannabe is watching you. LIKE A HAWK. Or a really intense sheepdog.

Hi Sheepdog. I know you want to help out and everything, but I’d be careful if I was you. You may be ferocious, but he’s bigger.

Bother.
Uhoh. Here she goes.

Winnie gets what-for
Max is a good boy, but he can only handle so much nagging before giving her what-for.

“That was scary.” But did she learn her lesson?

No. She was back at it an hour later.

Relaxation

It seems like something from another lifetime–Sitting under a palm tree. So relaxed. So carefree. Except I need to stop biting my lips.

The Mamarazzi. We had 3 DSLR cameras with us at all times on this trip.

The Hunterfam, minus the senior son, plus the Vedras, are on vacation. It’s super awesome.

We set out on Saturday, driving 3ish hours down to Naperville, IL where Adam’s parents and sister Amanda live. (that’s her above, with Adam and Ellie.) We spent Saturday evening and Sunday hanging out, eating, and talking. It was so relaxing and fun. I played paparazzi and took lots of people photos. Here are some.

Oh, Ethan.

Come on.

There we go.

Here’s a little boy in a drawer at our Mariott hotel in Naperville.

Wakin’ up in Naperville, time to get ready for church. Aawww.

Happy Veterans’ Day. After church, we drove through downtown Naperville because Adam’s dad wanted us to see these flags that had been put up for a Veterans’ day tribute. There was a whole hill full of them, each representing a fallen solider from the city. It was very, very moving and beautiful.

Here’s Princess Ellie.

Here’s her big brother Seth. The weather has been really beautiful–70’s and sunny. We had Sunday dinner on the back deck.

Speaking of beautiful–two beautiful Moms. ♥

Also, my Dad turned 50. Happy birthday, Dad.

After dinner, we drove another 3 hours to Wisconsin Dells. This is one of the rooms in our luxurious 3-bedroom condo at Glacier Canyon Lodge. This place is amazing. Like, whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, leather couch, and flatscreen-TVs-in-each-bedroom amazing. I’d rather not leave for a very long time.

The first thing we did after checking in was hit one of the 3 indoor waterparks.

Then we got groceries and went to bed.

Then we got up and ate breakfast. (As for the coffee cup, well, we start them young in the Hunter family.)

After breakfast, we went back to the waterpark.

Ellie loved the hot tub.

Now we’re going to eat dinner. Yay, Vacation.
