[I'm still too busy to write anything intelligent (or otherwise) to post on the internet. So here's a funny something Dr. Anderson said today.]

Anderson: “There are two kinds of people in this world: those who prefer Latin, and those who prefer Greek.”
Student: “There are also people who don’t like either.”
Anderson: “Student, those aren’t real people.”

And here’s some Dr. Pazdernik for good measure:

Pazdernik: “Where’s Perseus when you need it? Paging through a codex is so 20th Century.”

Pazdernik: “I make it a point not to remember anything.”

Most offensive-but-still-somewhat-endearing complement I’ve recieved in a long time: jAke from Latin class told me that I ought to dress up for class on Halloween, because he’s going to. I expressed reluctance saying I had two other classes and work that day, so I couldn’t possibly, but he began naming off costumes for me. then he said, “Personally my favorite costume is Eve. You would totally get an A in class and possibly a raise.”

And a conversation snippet from today’s riding session:

Aaron: “How were my hands?”
Brittany: “I wasn’t watching.”
Aaron: “Uhhum. You know, sometimes I wonder, what do you watch when you’re standing there?”
Brittany: “The birdies.”
Aaron: “Uhhuh. That’s kind of what I figured…Sometimes I think I could have sold you any old nag and you wouldn’t know the difference.”

Now that last bit, that’s not true. But sometimes I should pay more attention. Sometimes I’m a little out there. However, sometimes I can’t help it– jAke said just now, “yeah, seeing as your hair is naturally that way and all…”

yep. Cut me some slack, peeps. I was born this way.

Too Easily Amused

In surfing Wikipedia, I came across this

Entertaining Useless Bit of Information that Made My Day:

The Hallelujah Chorus is movement 42 in Handel’s Messiah.

This amuses me to no end. I love 42.
(If you don’t know what the significance of the number 42 is, I suggest you Go Here.)

Someday soon I’ll be writing real entries again. (This week was just crazy-insane.) But I recently read an article in the latest issue of GV Magazine that I want to address, (bonus points to the person who guesses which article it is!) and also, the Flags of our Fathers movie is an item of interest to me.

Yes. Have a good one.
