Got Me a College Girl

[i sincerely hope the title is a joke.]

This is a subject I’ve been pondering on and wrestling with a lot this year as I endeavor to live out God’s call in all areas of my life. So then, I was elated to find this blog tonight. It’s got some really insightful writers and anyone who has an interest in this topic should have a look-see.

James presented this concise yet spot-on illustration regarding the Xanga VS. Real Blog debate.

James’ witty commentary has been the highlight of my day so far.

Hilarious-because-it’s-true website: Help, I’m Going Hyper!” (You know you’re a Calvinist if…)
I laughed and laughed.

In other news, saw the Symphony tonight. Aaron and I got wonderful seats in row M of the orchestra, on the left. This was particularly adventageous because they had a piano concerto tonight. With our student passes, these seats, which normally cost upwards of $50, were a mere $5. I’m pretty certain that’s one of the best evenings you can get for $5. For goodness’ sake, even bowling is more than that. Berlioz’s Le Corsaire was one of the pieces on the program, and I particularly enjoyed it, having played it with the Youth Symphony a couple of years ago. Good stuff, that. Today I also finished a paper titled “The Idylls: Fully Alexandrian, Uniquely Theocritean”. It was really quite enjoyable to write. I hope the professors like it.

Whoa
